Graveyard Rumble

A new game mode has been introduced since patch 189. The graveyard rumble is a PvE game mode where you don’t have to bring any items with you and have to kill as many monsters as possible until you die.

You’ll be given an Epic sword (1H) and short bow. You won’t have any relics nor consumables. The monsters will start spawning one at a time but as you kill them, more will spawn.

On the top left side there will be a meter measuring the speed of the monsters which is set at 1.0x at first, but as time goes the speed increases slowly and the monsters will run faster and faster, so they’ll eventually catch you.

The number of monsters that you kill goes to the leaderboard only if you can make it to the top 10 players.

What do you get from Graveyard Rumble?

Aside from the thrill and change in pace from the regular adventures, you get to participate in a competition with valuable prizes.

For example, at the moment, there is a competition until October 15th that brings the following prizes for the first 3 places:

  1. Mythical 2H sword (Zenarthiil Parallel) worth around $1,000 (see here current listings).
  2. Legendary 2H axe (Traumahawk) worth around $100 based on the value of other legendary 2H axes.
  3. Epic relic that leeches life up to 2500 HP (Feeble Bloodstone) worth around $700 (see here current listings).

Due to an exploit found in the Graveyard Rumble, participants are now required to also send a video proof of their performance.

How to enter the Graveyard Rumble?

To enter the Rumble your character needs to be at least level 10 and a member. Secondly, you need to go to the cemetery (duuuh) where you’ll find the entrance by following the path leading to the cracked tomb.

Do I lose my tools inside the Graveyard Rumble?

No, you can’t lose any items inside the Rumble when you die. Any items that you carry when entering the Rumble will be removed/reset and the inventory will be restored when you finish.

The Lost Relics Encyclopedia is located at the top bar, next to the skill book and it allows you to find information about anything in game (relics, tools, events, bounties, weapons so on).

How to open the Encyclopedia?

You need to unlock the Encyclopedia before you can access it. To unlock it you must finish the starter quests. If you don’t know where the starter quests are, just open the map (TAB or M) and find a question mark or an exclamation mark in yellow. That’s where you’ll find the NPC with the quest.

The name of the quest that unlocks the Encyclopedia is Powerful Knowledge, but you’ll have to do the first quests in order to get to this one.

My executioner disappeared

If your executioner/s disappeared from stash, it’s because it was a volatile item and Cliff removed all of them from everybody starting with Patch 188 (September 20th 2021).

The executioner was a transcendental weapon (red axe) that we used to get from Daily Rewards. These powerful weapons were just one time use, meaning they’d be destroyed after a single dungeon (adventure). Some players stacked them for the future, anticipating a new challenge. But now they’re all gone.

The executioner had the term “Volatile” written in description, along-side “Destructible”, so we should keep in mind that any future items like this aren’t meant to be stored, but to be used sooner than later.

September Update Patch

UPDATE (September 30th 2021): The patch became live on Sunday (26th) and there are a lot of important changes such as:

  • Shadowstones are dropping from adventures.
  • Virtual items (tools, armor, virtual weapons/relics) are breakable after enough usage (unspecified when they will break or after how many uses – it’s random). The higher the rarity the longer it’ll last. The item won’t break inside the dungeon (so you won’t be left without a tool until you exit).
  • Blockchain weapons have new effects (see the effects in the Encyclopedia in-game).
  • Encyclopedia has been added.
  • Chests from adventures need a key to be opened. The keys drop from monsters, so you need to kill all monsters if you don’t want to miss opening all chests.
  • Gathering spots now have rarities (e.g. rare/blue mining claim) and you can only gather with the same rarity tool.
  • Drop rate from gathering depends on your level (e.g. if you are level 1 miner, you will find mostly nothing from mining claims, but the higher the level the higher the chance).
  • New PvE mode: Graveyard Rumble. Your score is calculated based on how many monsters you kill before you die.

Previous information (before update):

On September 19th 2021, servers went down to prepare the next major update patch version 188. After approximately 24 hours the game opened and everybody could download the new patch.

However, there were several major bugs that happened at scale (only when a lot of people are trying to log in at the same time) and server is now down for maintenance to fix these bugs rolling version 189, 190 and maybe more depending on technical issues.

The team is hard at work on the update. We’ve already found and fixed issues that only appeared at scale and we continue to work on the update.

News will be posted here when it’s back up and running but for now chat has been disabled due to the same questions being asked over and over.

In the mean time you won’t be able to play, create accounts or make purchases until it’s back up.”

Cliff Cawley – LR Creator (message from telegram/discord from September 20th 2021)

There are tons of new changes but here’s a few things that players wanted to know related to the new update:

  • Engineering and the new skill, forging, are from now on only available to members.
  • Chests inside the dungeons will be more rewarding, meaning they’ll drop items more often.
  • You will have a stash box near adventure pass if you are level 5 or higher. This means you won’t have to go back to the tavern every time to unload the loot.
  • You will be able to withdraw shadowstones (ss) to JENJ, but you won’t be able to withdraw the ss that drops from dungeons directly, you’ll have to buy items with it to spend it, but the ss that you receive from selling items will be eligible to withdraw.

When will the patch be ready?

The system is still in maintenance and we won’t be able to play until Cliff makes the announcement. The following message was Cliff’s desire to launch the game on September 22nd, but more issues came up, so the game won’t be ready until after September 26th:

“We’re aiming for a new release within the next 24 hours and once we do we’ll be constantly monitoring the server infrastructure to see if we can spot any other issues that only happen with a large amount of players who are performing adhoc gameplay.”

Where do I find Ogums

Ogum is a biggish scary monster (not a boss, though) that’s not easy to find because there’s not many of them. You can find Ogums in the following dungeons (adventures): Solt Beach, Olkepth Caverns, Mount Olkepth.

Where are the most Ogums?

The most Ogums are in Solt Beach, where you can find 4-5 Ogums fairly often, although there are moments when you’ll find less.

Counterintuitively, you won’t find the most Ogums in Mount Olkepth (the hardest dungeon), where usually you’ll find 2 or 3. It’s not impossible to find more than that at times, though.

In Olkepth Caverns you usually find only 1 or 2 Ogums so it’s definitely not the place to farm them.

What’s the use of the torch

You probably wondered what can you do with the torch item since there’s no clear usage in the description, but just like many items in-game, it doesn’t have a functionality at the moment.

Actually, it had a functionality before (in 2020) when there was a very dark dungeon where there was no light, so you had to play it blindly or using a torch.

The torch was used to make light and getting close to the walls to lit up the other torches, to make even more light. There is also a wooden sword (a multiverse item) that can be lit up inside the dungeon by getting it closer to a flame.

The torch item can drop as a level up reward and can also be obtained via crafting (engineering).

There is probably a future use for the torch, which we don’t know yet. But it can be used right now by players who need more light inside the adventures (for example Trayl Woods has been considered too dark by some players).

Can you run all dungeons with only green weapons

The green gear is very accessible for new players so you might have been wondering if it’s possible to complete all dungeons with just the green weapons. The short answer is YES, but that’s not practical for most players.

Can I do 3-sword difficulty with greens?

3-sword difficulty dungeons (adventures) are usually being grinded with blue weapons, but you can also complete them with greens. A green set composed of a green bow, a green sword/axe and a feeble ring of rejuvenation might not be enough unless you’re a skilled player, but if you take enough consumables with you (food or potions) it will get much easier.

Can I finish the hardest dungeon (Mount Olkepth) with greens?

Completing the hardest dungeon only with green gear is a very difficult task. It has been done by at least one player who tried it over and over again until he did it, but it’s not practical when it comes to farming/gridning, since your risk of dying is very high and you’ll waste a time and gold in the process.

It’s one thing to run 3 or even 4-sword difficulty dungeons with green items and it’s another thing to try much harder dungeons. Remember, green weapons were designed for 2-sword difficulty adventures, but if you want to challenge yourself go ahead, it is definitely possible.

Retrieving account information

If you’re stuck at loading screen with the message: “Retrieving account information” then probably your installation files got corrupted due to various reasons such as old mirror link, game download error, but mostly because of the Antivirus software quarantined or deleted parts of the data folder.

Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Uninstall Lost Relics from your system.
  2. Delete the AppData folder associated with the game (this step is optional but it was necessary for some players).
  3. Reinstall the game from the official website (
  4. Whitelist Lost Relics in your Antivirus settings.

Most of the time this does the trick, but if it doesn’t, make sure to also run the game in Administrator mode and that should do it.

Shadowstones will drop in dungeons – confirmed!

The rumors regarding Shadowstones (SS) dropping in adventures (dungeons) with the next patch have been confirmed by Cliff. Also the next patch will happen this month (September).

This is a game changer, since the game is becoming MORE play-to-earn than before, even if it’s going to remain mostly luck based.

How will this work?

Basically all the Shadowstones in the game are from players depositing ENJ or JENJ coin, so the SS’s stay within the player economy and there’s none left to drop in the dungeons.

BUT WAIT: Cliff revealed that with the new update, he will increase the trading fee of the ingame marketplace to 4% and the extra 1% will be used for random drops inside the dungeons. Aside from that, Cliff will also allow us to buy items in the web store (pendants, outfits, pets, crystals) using SS’s from which a small percentage will be put back in the loot pool just like the 1% from trading on the ingame marketplace.

Here’s Cliff’s last interview

In this interview (taken on September 2nd) we can see Cliff’s confirmation about adding Shadowstones to the loot pool:

How much initial capital needed to play

If you’re wondering how much money is required to start playing the game, you should know that the game is free to play. But there’s a few things worth mentioning on this topic.

As of end of July, beginning of August 2021, new accounts are required to make a purchase – a power pendant (membership) in order to activate their account and play the game, otherwise they’ll have to wait (possibly months) before the next batch of account activations.

So in this sense, you’ll need around $12 USD (cost to buy the minimum order for activation, which is a 7-day Power Pendant) or 0.005 ETH plus fees (which can add up a lot to the price).

How much initial capital is needed to play comfortably?

Ok, so you want to buy a minimum set of items in the beginning so that you can play comfortably and you’re wondering how much it costs.

It’s better to play the game a little before investing, in order to get used to fighting. There’s a learning curve if you haven’t played dungeon crawlers before. Better gear doesn’t save you if you don’t use basic fighting techniques (some tips here).

Ok, now that we got that out of the way and you’re doing well in your fights, let’s see what gear you can get. Firstly, you’ll be able to get the green gear (virtual weapons from Seraphina’s General Store), but you might be tired of those by now since they’re not particularly powerful and you lose them on death.

The next best thing is a blue gear. Blue means rare, it’s the 3rd rarity (after common and uncommon) and it’s affordable and great for a bunch of dungeons.

First of all, you’ll need a blue weapon, which you can purchase for under $10 from the Royal Emporium (or, but it’s cheaper from the Emporium if you converted your ENJ to JENJ and then to shadowstones).

Then you’ll need blue healing items. You should buy 4 different items, to cover the slots and have as much healing power as you can. These items should be good:

  • Ardanium Cookie
  • Amber Bee Honeycomb
  • Jhorth Walnuts
  • Dried Blush Berries

Healing items can be more important than weapons. These 4 relics give you both health (HP) and energy (MP), they have 2 charges each and since they’re blockchain items they replenish after each adventure.

A rough estimate of 4 blue healing items and a blue bow, we’re at a total of around $100, if we also consider fees for ETH or ENJ conversion + withdrawal/gas fees, so on.

This price depends varies over time because item prices fluctuate. We estimate it will go up over time with more players joining the game.
