The short answer is no, you can’t buy blockchain items with gold. Because you can’t trade bc items for gold in Emporium. But there are exceptions: outfits (skins) which are bc items that you can buy with gold from the shop in town (general store).
Be on the lookout, Cliff (the dev) likes to surprise us. At one point there was a blockchain Mythical Sword (Zenarthiil Parallel) listed at 1.5 million gold coins in the general store.
